eye contact

I know I shouldn't even have that thought.

でも、すごく気になる。

long time no see

Right now, I have 5 assignments piling over me and I'm pretty jaded.

The semester is coming to the end in a few weeks and this could be my final semester in NUS:(

I can't say much about what is going to happen after this semester, because things are not finalized yet.

To fellow friends who are struggling to meet deadlines now, good luck!

two-faced?

I am a little disturbed by my own behavior recently.

I discovered my behavior swings to a 180 degrees when I'm with certain people.

I'm usually quiet. I don't talk much, I don't smile much. In fact I think I look pretty aloof when I'm silent. Which doesn't really make me look approachable in any way. But that's the side of me when I'm in an unfamiliar setting, or when I'm surrounded by people I'm not close to.

But when I'm with people whom I regard as close to my heart, I start saying crazy stuff, so crazy that I'm appalled with myself sometimes. Plus, I will have that goofy smile plastered across my face. Urgh, I'm starting to feel a little embarrassed (*>.<*)

world baseball classic

Anyone living in Japan or Korea now would have been busy over the weekends cheering in front of the tv with their pom poms. Last weekend was the WBC matches between rival countries Japan and Korea.

The WBC was far more exciting than the Beijing Olympics baseball matches because the major league players were allowed to play. So there werethe baseball giants like Ichiro and Matsuzaka who dominated the entire scene whenever they stepped onto the field.

I am never a good softball player ( in fact i am not good in any sports), but I simply love watching baseball matches. Oh, that adrenaline rush when a home run is hit!

The first match was a major victory for Japan with a groundbreaking 14-2 score. But the second match was also a major disappointment: 0-1. It was unbelievable because Japan had 4 major league players in the team whereas Korea had only 1. Unbelievable.

i'm having a good feeling about this

It's the time when everyone starts getting stressed up over projects and reports. Unfortunately for some, the stress escalates when they discover they have uncooperative members in the team, which sucks.

I'm taking on two term papers this semester, and I think I can clearly say that I'm pretty confident in at least one of them.

Have you ever experienced this warm fuzzy feeling when your gut instinct tells you that: Man, this thing will surely work out. Right now, I'm having that bubbly feeling.

I'm lucky to be working with my current project mates:)

happy hinamatsuri

Hinamatsuri is well celebrated all over Japan on every 3rd March. It is generally known as "Girls' Day", where many little girls are dressed in traditional costumes and majestic displays of food and beautiful decorations are placed in their homes.
